I visited Syria in September 1991, six months after the first so-called war in Iraq.  I will always remember the hospitality of the Syrian and Arabic people, and the numerous people I encountered on this trip.  Since I visited this country almost eight years ago, I am sure many things have changed.  Feel free to contact me if you have any comments or would like to use any of the images on these pages.
